Opening in 1959 Uskmouth B is one of the UK's oldest remaining coal-fired power station. The station closed in 2015 pending a conversion to fire biomass.
Uskmouth originally had three generating sets, producing a total of 363 MW of electricity and was increased to 393 MW in 2001. One of the three generators was retired in 2013.
Uskmouth B had facilities for workers including a medical room and bathhouse. The station also had various services dotted around such as labs, diesel generators and chemical plants.
